Discover an invigorating mental health boost in Greater Boston—right at Windmill Point. The Hull Lifesaving Museum’s Adult Open Water Rowing Program welcomes beginners and seasoned rowers alike into a community built on camaraderie, challenge, and the century-old tradition of “pulling together.”

No experience is necessary. All you need is footwear that can get wet, lots of layers, water, hat and gloves and a good sense of humor. Each outing, we launch from the beach in our Whitehall Fours and Pilot Gigs—selecting the boat that best matches the crew that assembles that day. Whether the harbor is glassy or rolling, our trained coxswains guide rowers safely through the ever-changing conditions of open water.

More than a workout, this program offers connection, resilience, and the rare joy of moving in perfect rhythm with others. Many participants say it quickly becomes their favorite part of the week. Join us on the water and experience firsthand how we continue our mission of?Saving Lives Then, Changing Lives Now.”
