Ready to shake off winter and get back outside? Join Home Base for a day of exploration at Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary! As one of the largest MA Audubon Society sanctuaries, this beautiful landscape features 12 miles of scenic trails through forests, meadows, and wetlands.

The day kicks off with an educational overview from sanctuary staff, followed by a guided hike focused on reptiles and amphibians. You'll visit a vernal pool and the Rockery, one of the sanctuary’s most popular spots—where you might even spot some amphibian friends! After the hike, enjoy a provided lunch and take the rest of the day to explore at your own pace.

Don’t miss this chance to reconnect with nature and experience the beauty of spring!
